It has been an up-and mostly down year for the Memphis Grizzlies this season. After losing Mike Conley at the beginning of the season, the Grizzlies transformed into a lottery team, winning just 18 games over the course of the year.
After suffering an intrusion in his left heel, the Grizzlies announced that Conley will miss the rest of the season to undergo surgery. On Wednesday, the surgery was a success, and a loopy Conley was visibly seen singing the 1976 hit, Carry on Wayward Son by Kansas.
This lighthearted moment has been a positive one for Conley, who recently called this season ‘a nightmare'. according to NBA's David Aldridge.

The Grizzlies are currently 12th in the Western Conference and should stay put since Conley won't be returning this season. Now that the star point guard has completed a successful surgery, his goal should be to get ready for the upcoming season and get his team back on track. However, Conley's mind in this video doesn't seem to be on anything but an old rock classic from the 70s.
With Conley back on the floor next season, the Grizzlies are in a good position to redeem themselves and make up for any lost ground.
