Miami Heat backup Duncan Robinson is a sharpshooter through and through. The second-year pro proved that on Wednesday against the Orlando Magic.
Against the Magic, Robinson dropped 27 points on 9-12 shooting. Interestingly, all 12 of Robinson's shots came from behind the arc and since he didn't get to the free-throw line during the game.
As a result, Robinson's 27-point total is tied for the highest total in NBA history for a player who didn't attempt a two-point shot or free throw during a game. Per Elias Sports, Robinson tied former Houston Rockets forward Robert Horry who accomplished the feat in 1996.
However, that wasn't the only milestone that the former Michigan star accomplished on Wednesday. Robinson also joined Steph Curry, James Harden and Buddy Hield as the only players in NBA history to hit nine or more three-pointers in at least three games during a season.

Robinson went 9-15 from deep in November for the Heat against the Cleveland Cavaliers and then 10-14 two months later against the Atlanta Hawks.
The former Division-III walk-on is one of the NBA's most surprising players this year as he has gone from two-way bench player to legitimate NBA marksman and starter on a contending team in the Eastern Conference.
On the season, Robinson is averaging 12.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from deep.
The second-year sniper has shot the sixth-most three-pointers of any player this season. Additionally, among the 18 NBA players who have attempted at least 400 three-pointers throughout the season, Robinson's 43.8 percent clip ranks first.
