Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic is showing the world just how much an NBA championship means to him.
Following a torn plantar fascia, which appeared as though it would sideline him for the remainder of the Finals, Dragic himself was honest about his status.
In spite of what he said before, however, Dragic is fighting through the pain to play in order to try to help his team win a title.
The one-time Heat All-Star is determined to find any way he can to be able to play in spite of the pain which, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, is “extreme.” What has helped Dragic in his decision, however, has been the fact that he's been told that the injury cannot be worsened by playing.

This revelation by the Heat medical staff may be what had made him determined to play. Last Monday, Dragic was uncertain of his status for the remainder of the series following the injury, noting that he didn't want to hurt his team's chances of winning by being on the court.
He did apparently know at the time that it was as bad as it could be, so his ability on the court during practice may have impacted his decision to push through and play.

Goran Dragic is listed as active for Game 6. How many minutes and how impactful his role will be has yet to be determined. The Heat are looking to push the series to a Game 7 after they already survived elimination once in Game 5.
