The Miami Heat will be without point guard Goran Dragic on Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors due to a strained right groin.

The Heat are 14-5 on the season, good for third place in the Eastern Conference standings. Dragic played 30 minutes in Miami's three-point win over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday and finished with 24 points and six assists.

On the season for the Heat, Dragic is averaging 15.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists. The lefty, who comes off the bench for Miami, is shooting 46.6 percent from the field, 40.6 percent from beyond the arc and 71.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Dragic is making $19.2 million this season, the final year of his contract. The veteran signed a five-year, $85 million extension with the Heat in the summer of 2015.

Miami rookie Kendrick Nunn has been starting for the Heat and he has been playing great. The Chicago native is putting up 16.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists. Dragic has to be considered one of the best bench players in the NBA since he's been a starter for most of his career.

Four-time All-Star Jimmy Butler has been everything Heat president Pat Riley envisioned when he acquired Butler from the Philadelphia 76ers. Jimmy is averaging 18.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game and has Miami back in playoff contention after the team missed it last season.
