The Miami Heat kept their season alive by coming out victorious against the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5, but Jimmy Butler still wants his team to put up a better performance come Sunday.

The Heat's superstar swingman spoke to ESPN's Rachel Nichols shortly after his team's down-to-the-wire 111-108 victory to cut the Lakers' Finals series lead to 3-2.

The 6-foot-7 two-way ace went mano a mano against Lakers superstar LeBron James in the final quarter, winning the duel with yet another triple-double performance. He tallied a team-high 35 points on 11-of-19 shooting, along with 11 boards, 11 assists, five steals and one block in 47 minutes.

Butler only took a one-minute breather for the entire game and still looked fresh when it mattered the most. Apart from his timely baskets, the five-time All-Star took it upon himself to guard James down the stretch.

He played fantastic defense in the dying seconds, forcing a driving James to kick the ball out to Danny Green, who went on to miss the wide-open three.

The defiant Heat team refused to pack their bags on Friday, thanks to their unrelenting leader in Butler. They need to put up a similar effort in Game 6 to force that do-or-die match for the Larry O'Brien trophy.
