Jimmy Butler had one heck of a game against the Phoenix Suns and we can’t blame him if he wanted the spotlight all for himself on Thursday night.
Led by Butler’s 34 points, the Miami Heat sent the surging Phoenix Suns back to earth with a 124-108 victory at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.
The four-time All-Star was given the Best Player of the Game distinction and was getting interviewed when he decided to send video bombers Meyers Leonard and Bam Adebayo back to the locker room.
Asked why he decided to shoo off his big men, Butler jokingly quipped: “It’s not about them right now, it’s about me”.

Butler, of course, had all the reason to celebrate as he became the only second Heat player to score 30 or more points in a half since LeBron James.
He only poured in four points in the final two quarters, but Miami built enough momentum to score their sixth win in eight games this season.
