Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James got brutally honest in a recent Q&A session on Twitter. One of his most fascinating revelations focused on what he considers to be the “toughest moment” of his entire career. As much as The King has achieved throughout what has been a decorated career, there's also no denying that LeBron has been through his fair share of challenging times as well.

According to the Lakers talisman, the biggest hurdle he's ever had to face in his career was the time his Miami Heat lost to the Dallas Mavericks during the 2011 NBA Finals. LeBron clearly remembers that moment, as well as what he did in the aftermath of that deflating series loss:

“Losing in the finals to Dallas after playing like 💩💩!! I hit the reset button, went back to the basics, worked on things in my game I needed to get better at so the defense couldn't just sit on 1 thing. Hours & hours & hours everyday in the off season on it. Came back 🔒  in! 🤷‍♂️” LeBron wrote in his tweet

That was LeBron's first season with the Heat. At that time, Miami was the heavy favorite to win it all after James teamed up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in South Beach. Unfortunately for them, Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavs upset them in the Finals in six games. As the Lakers star said above, that moment forced him to rethink the path he had taken.

LeBron came back with a vengeance after that season. He led the Heat to back-to-back championships over the next two years.

Right now, James is facing a bit of adversity with the Lakers. The four-time NBA champ is now hoping to overcome this current challenge in the same way he bounced back during his time with the Heat.
