Goran Dragic posted a photo a couple of weeks ago that made its waves around social media. The Miami Heat guard was hanging out with the likes of Nikola Jokic, Boban Marjanovic, Luka Doncic, Vlatko Cancar, and Nikola Vucevic, his fellow players from the Balkan countries.
Dragic shared about the bond between the players from the Balkan Boys, the moniker they later referred to themselves as, and how their crazy night out in the bubble went.
“We transformed the restaurant to a club,” Dragić said (via Jovan Buha of The Athletic).
According to Goran Dragic, Jokic and Marjanovic are the two jokers among the bunch. Dragic also suggested to the Dallas Mavericks big man that he would eventually carve out a career in television after his playing days.

“Jokić and Bobi, they are the two funniest dudes,” Dragić said. “Especially because they basically tease each other most of the time. They go back and forth. We were just laughing all night.
“I even told (Marjanović), ‘Bobi, I know what you’re gonna do after the career. You’re gonna work on TV, for sure.’”
Boban is one of the most entertaining personalities in the league. The 7-foot-3 gentle giant even had his own series with former teammate and good buddy Tobias Harris. In fact, Marjanovic also acted in John Wick 3, so he definitely has experience in terms of being in front of the camera.
As for Jokic, it seems like the “Joker” moniker suits him well.
It's rare for players to get the opportunity to hang out like this. The Slovenian along with his fellow Balkan friends from Serbia and Montenegro took advantage of the chance to spend some quality time together.
