The Milwaukee Bucks have won just one championship in franchise history, but they have boasted some of the top squads the game has ever seen.
For this piece, we ranked the three best Bucks teams in franchise history. The first choice will be easy since only one Milwaukee team has won the title, but which could the other top two Bucks teams be?
Let's find out.
3. 2018-19 Bucks
The 2018-19 Bucks won 60 games and finished with the best record in the NBA. They also had the MVP in Giannis Antetokounmpo, who put up 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game while shooting 57.8 percent from the floor and 72.9 percent from the free-throw line.
Milwaukee began the 2019 playoffs by easily sweeping the Detroit Pistons, who played Games 1 and 2 without star power forward Blake Griffin. Blake played in Games 3 and 4, but he wasn't 100 percent and Milwaukee advanced to the second round.
The Semifinals didn't start well for the Bucks. They lost to the Boston Celtics in Game 1 at home. However, it was a good wake-up call for Giannis and the team.
After the Game 1 loss, all Bucks news was focused on the team winning four games in a row to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they faced Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors.
At first, it looked like Giannis and the Bucks were going to sweep the Raptors. Milwaukee took a 2-0 series lead heading into Game 3 up in Toronto after winning Games 1 and 2 at home in a convincing fashion.
Game 3 is when the entire series shifted in the Raptors' favor. Leonard basically turned into Michael Jordan and took over the series. The Raps won four games in a row to clinch their Finals spot, while Giannis and the Bucks were left heartbroken after blowing a 2-0 series lead.
Everyone in the league knows The Greek Freak will be motivated to win a ring for the Bucks whenever the coronavirus ends. Before the 2019-20 season was suspended, Giannis and Milwaukee once again had the top record in the league.
