Reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday in what could be a preview of the 2020 Eastern Conference Finals.

Antetokounmpo says last year's Eastern Conference Finals loss to the Raptors was on his mind throughout the entire game on Tuesday. The Bucks lost in six games after taking a 2-0 series lead in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals:

“You always remember the last time you play here, the problems you had,” Antetokounmpo said after finishing with 19 points, 19 rebounds, eight assists and three blocks in 38 minutes, via ESPN. “It was definitely on my mind.”

Just like last season, Giannis and the Bucks have the best record in the NBA. Now that Kawhi Leonard is in the Western Conference playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, many believe the Bucks will easily win the East this time around, although the Raptors, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat all figure to have something to say about that when it's all said and done.

Giannis could very well win his second straight MVP award. He's averaging 29.7 points, 13.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists on the season in 52 games while shooting 55.1 percent from the field, 31.4 percent from beyond the arc and 62.1 percent from the free-throw line.

The Bucks are now 50-8 on the season after defeating the Raptors. They have already clinched a playoff spot.
