Giannis Antetokounmpo has had some pretty peculiar substitution patterns in the last couple of NBA Finals appearances. The Milwaukee Bucks star finally admitted to what exactly has been holding him back. Apparently, it was his bladder.

Giannis made the hilarious admission after the Bucks' resounding Game 4 win against the Phoenix Suns.

“I went to take a tinkle and came back. That's polite, right? Both games, I went to take a tinkle and came back.”

The Greek Freak has conspicuously checked out of the first quarter relatively early in both Games 3 and 4, subbing out at around the 8:30 mark of the opening frame on both occasions. While this could just be a sneaky way to get Giannis a quick jolt of rest early in the contest, the Bucks star clearly wanted to have some fun with it.

It's not surprising that Giannis Antetokounmpo would be in a jovial mood, given that his Bucks have now evened the series after taking both Games 3 and 4 at home.

Perhaps Giannis' “tinkle” time is the secret weapon that has kept him going throughout these NBA Finals. He's carrying a lot of weight on his shoulders so maybe that short break has done wonders for him.

Given that the Bucks have looked every bit the part of a championship team in the last two contests, Coach Mike Budenholzer better allot that 8:30 mark for Giannis Antetokounmpo the rest of the way.
