The Milwaukee Bucks lost a second consecutive series opener in this year's playoffs, a 115-104 defeat against the Miami Heat on Monday. After the disappointing defeat, Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo did not seem overly concerned, as the reigning league MVP remains confident in his team's chances to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

According to Antetokounmpo, this type of adversity is nothing new for the Bucks:

Giannis is not wrong here, but there's also no denying that another Game 1 defeat by the league-best Bucks is rather concerning. Then again, they did accomplish a gentleman's sweep against the Orlando Magic in the opening round, defeating the eighth-sided Magic in four consecutive games following Game 1's shock defeat.

This Heat side, however, is anything like Orlando. As a matter of fact, some experts have already come out to say that the Heat are more than capable of pulling off an upset against the heavily-favored Bucks. One of the factors that we pointed out earlier is how the Heat will need to contain Giannis. This is exactly what they did on Monday, with Antetokounmpo finishing with just 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting, to go with an uncharacteristic six turnovers. Miami was able to prevent the Bucks' stud from creating an offensive explosion in Game 1, and if succeed in doing so in a couple more games, then they should be in a prime position for a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals.
