There's no love lost between former Milwaukee Bucks teammates Giannis Antetokounmpo and Malcolm Brogdon, who joined the Indiana Pacers over the summer on a sign-and-trade deal. Ahead of Saturday's matchup between the Bucks and the Pacers, the reigning league MVP could not help but take a shot at Brogdon, starting of course, with the former Rookie of the Year's physical appearance.
Antetokounmpo starts talking about Brogdon at around the 3:52 mark.
"First of all, Malcolm is ugly." 😂

Up until Giannis started talking about his former teammate, he was dead serious throughout the interview, discussing his team's 124-115 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday. You could, however, see his face light up when asked about Brogdon, which just shows what type of bond these two shared during their time together in Milwaukee.

Jokes aside, though, Antetokounmpo did quickly acknowledge what type of impact Brogdon had with the team throughout his three-year tenure with the Bucks, and how he has absolutely been killing it with the Pacers this year. Right now, the 26-year-old is posting career-high marks across the board with averages of 20.7 points (on 46.9 percent shooting), 5.2 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 1.1 steals, while also knocking down 1.5 3-pointers per game on a 32.7-percent clip.
The absence of Pacers superstar Victor Oladipo has forced Brogdon to step up as Indiana's main man, and in this regard, he has certainly heeded the call. The Pacers are currently 7-4 to start the new campaign, and are currently just a game behind the 8-3 Bucks. Saturday's matchup between these two sides should certainly be a good one.
