Injuries have played a major part in the 2020-21 NBA season, and it unfortunately continued Tuesday night. During Game 4 between the Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks, Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered a scary-looking knee injury that had State Farm Arena silent.
Antetokounmpo went up to block a Clint Capela alley-oop dunk, but appeared to be kicked in the left knee as he was landing. His knee buckled backwards in a very scary, ugly fashion.

Giannis Antetokounmpo stayed on the ground for another minute or two before being helped over to the Bucks bench by brother Thanasis.

After walking from the bench to the locker room on his own, the two-time MVP walked back to the Bucks bench on his own power.

Shortly after, however, Giannis returned back to the Bucks locker room, and Milwaukee's GM followed his star into the tunnel, reported Ben Golliver.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is no longer in the Bucks' bench area. Bucks GM Jon Horst headed for the tunnel during the last timeout as well.

Prior to the start of the fourth quarter, Antetokounmpo was ruled out for the remainder of Game 4. He finished with 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting, eight rebounds, three assists, and one blocked shot in 24 minutes of play.
Hopefully, Giannis avoided any serious injury, and his walking without much assistance is a good sign. Still, it'll be interesting to see how his body reacts once the adrenaline leaves the body and the knee begins to swell.
Antetokounmpo is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Wednesday.
