Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo knew coming into Game 6 that he had to step up and make the necessary adjustments to help his team extend the series against the Brooklyn Nets. And, the two-time MVP absolutely showed up and balled out on Thursday to help the Bucks secure a Game 7 ticket in Brooklyn. He did make a huge adjustment though that proved to be pivotal for the Bucks' chances.
Antetokounmpo finished with 30 points and 17 rebounds and spent a lot of time in the paint. So much so that the 26-year-old didn't even attempt a single three-pointer in 41 minutes of action. According to StatMuse, that's the first playoff game in three years that Giannis didn't even try to shoot from long range.

Good things happen when Giannis stays inside the paint, I guess? Best to leave the shooting to guys like Khris Middleton who shot the lights out on Thursday.
Antetokounmpo was a headache in the paint for Brooklyn all game long. With Giannis going downhill with a full head of steam, it's hard to imagine anyone in the entire league who can stop him one-on-one. He is a two-time MVP for a reason and he definitely silenced all the haters in a terrific Game 6 performance against the Nets.
Coming into one of the biggest games in his career, Giannis should anticipate that the Nets will definitely make an adjustment for their do-or-die game on Sunday. Antetokounmpo just has to constantly adapt and read what the defense is giving him to give the Bucks a shot at an ECF stint.
