With him, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez, the last order of business was to extend the face of the franchise, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak looks well and is more than satisfied with the moves made by the Bucks front office. He unveiled how much joy when the news broke, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic.

And I want to be committed, I want to give back to the city of Milwaukee,” were the striking words of assurance that came out of Giannis Antetokounmpo when asked about why winning the Larry O'Brien trophy means so much more in the city that drafted him.

The Bucks legend went into further detail and explained how much his life has changed since the NBA Draft. His family is getting to enjoy things they would not have had otherwise. This franchise means a lot for Antetokounmpo. The best way he could be able to give back to their generosity would be to give his all such that he and the Bucks core of Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez bring back another chip for the people who loved them. He has an immense and deeply-rooted love for the team and that could weigh more as motivation than the $186 million contract.
