Deviating away from their usual Green and White threads, the Bucks recently unveiled their blue-themed City Edition uniforms for the 2020-2021 NBA season, as seen on a teaser by the team's Twitter page.

The inspiration for the unique colorway stemmed from Milwaukee's original meaning which symbolized the city's connection to bodies of water, per a post on Twitter.

A disappointing campaign surprised the Bucks after they entered the Orlando Bubble with a league-leading 56-17 record. They faltered and fell to their underdog foes in the Miami Heat in five games.

Hoping to move on from a dismal showing, the Bucks tried their luck to at least look good on the court for next season. Debuting in the team's new threads will be the Bucks' newcomers who were acquired after the front office engaged in a bevy of roster moves.

Their productive offseason was highlighted with the acquisition of veteran guard Jrue Holiday from the New Orleans Pelicans, defensive ace Torrey Craig from the Denver Nuggets, shooter Bryn Forbes from the San Antonio Spurs, and veteran forward Bobby Portis from the New York Knicks.

D.J. Augustin including a young group of Jordan Nwora, Sam Merrill, Jaylen Adams, and Mamadi Diakite complete the new cast for the Bucks. All moves were made to revamp their roster in a bid to convince their two-time MVP in Giannis Antetokounmpo to finally sign the supermax extension being offered by the team.

With his decision still hanging in the balance for the Bucks, the team is hoping that their cool new jerseys could play a part to convince Antetokounmpo to finally put pen to paper in his contract and continue to don their threads in the years to come.
