The NBA named Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and LA Clippers forward Tobias Harris as Players of the Week in their respective conferences on Monday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is no stranger to these types of honors, but it's nice to see Tobias Harris receive recognition for his excellent play this season.

Antetokounmpo is having an MVP-like season and is making his case as the best player in the Eastern Conference. The Greek Freak is posting career highs in scoring, rebounding, and assists. Moreover, he has led the Bucks to a 14-5 start under the tutelage of new head coach Mike Budenholzer. The Raptors are the only team that the Bucks are chasing in the East standings at the moment.

While Antetokounmpo's impressive play comes as no surprise, Harris' superb start for the Clippers is turning heads out West. Harris is averaging a career-high 21.5 points per game and he's doing it with remarkable efficiency. If not for his 82.8 percent free-throw shooting, Harris would be a candidate to join the exclusive 50-40-90 club.

As a result of Harris' standout play, the Clippers are in first place in the Western Conference (yes, you read that correctly!). Doc Rivers is getting the most out of a team with a bunch of players like Harris. They might not have that singular star that seems like a prerequisite for winning in the NBA, but they have a group of players that are fitting together well.

Both the Bucks and the Clippers are off to hot starts and Antetokounmpo and Harris are playing a huge part in their respective team's success.
