Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade has a stern message for people who don't root for Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose.

After the Heat lost to the Timberwolves on Sunday in South Beach, Dwyane Wade told reporters postgame that if you are not cheering for Derrick Rose this season, something is seriously wrong with you:

Dwyane Wade and Derrick Rose were teammates briefly last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wade was able to see first-hand just how much work Rose has to put into his body to play in a game.

D-Rose has undergone four knee surgeries since becoming the youngest MVP in NBA history back in 2011 with his hometown Chicago Bulls.

Rose wasn't able to play against Wade and the Heat on Sunday due to a right ankle sprain he suffered versus the Atlanta Hawks. The former MVP is having an All-Star caliber year this season in Minnesota, averaging 18.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game while shooting 48.6 percent from the field, 46.2 percent from beyond the arc and 83.8 percent from the free-throw line.

After the Cavs traded Rose to the Utah Jazz and then the Jazz waived him last season, there was a point where some thought Rose's NBA career was done. To see him play at a high level this year after all the injuries he's been through has been good to see, and Wade is happy his fellow Chicagoan is playing well.
