Entering Monday, Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry and Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose are the only two guards in the NBA who are shooting at least 45.0 percent from the field and 45.0 percent from beyond the arc.

Curry, arguably the best shooter in league history, is shooting 48.9 percent overall and 45.0 percent from distance. Rose, meanwhile, is shooting 48.6 percent from the floor and a staggering 46.8 percent from the 3-point line.

We expect these numbers from Stephen Curry, but to see Derrick Rose doing this is simply phenomenal. Rose is a career 31.1 percent shooter from deep. The hard work the former MVP put into his jump shot last summer is paying off in a big way.

In 33 games this year for the Timberwolves, Rose is averaging 18.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per contest. The Chicago native is second in All-Star voting for Western Conference guards, trailing only Curry. Rose is currently fourth in the league in 3-point percentage, trailing only Seth Curry, Joe Harris and Davis Bertans.

In 32 games for the Warriors, Curry is averaging 29.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists. The two-time league MVP is second in the NBA in points per game, trailing only Houston Rockets star James Harden (34.2). Curry is sixth in 3-point percentage.
