With a new team, and getting reunited with his former coach this coming season, Jimmy Butler has a lot of reason to play at an even higher level. He has already started preparing for next season’s grind, as evidenced by a photo that he shared on his Instagram account recently.

It shows him ripped and appearing to be in very good shape, with still a month left before the start of the Minnesota Timberwolves training camp.

This is definitely a good development for the Minneapolis faithful, as Butler is expected to play a huge role for them, and also guide their young guns like Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins on their quest to become the best players that they can be. The three-time All-Star will be relied upon to share his playoff experience with them, as they plan to become a serious contender in the Western Conference in the coming years.

Butler’s superb conditioning will only make the Wolves better, and his work ethic could rub off on his new teammates as well. If he can quickly adjust to the team’s system and build good relationships with the other members of the team, they could emerge as a dark horse in the West as early as next season.
