Despite a recent social media back-and-forth with former teammate Dwyane Wade, Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jimmy Butler admits he's still “cool” with the undecided free agent.
“Yeah, that's my brother,” said Jimmy Butler of Wade after TMZ Sports spotted him outside of The Ivy in Los Angeles.
Asked if their recent exchange on Instagram was just some “harmless fun” with his former Chicago Bulls teammate, Butler kept rather coy.
“We'll let the fans keep guessing,” Butler added as he hopped into his ride.
Wade had recently commented on a Butler Instagram post captioned: “The good, the bad, and the ugly,” hoping to get his attention.

It seems like Butler had commented “well damn” in one of Gabrielle Union's photos, which brought Wade out to stick up for his wife.
All in all, it appears it's all part of some harmless fun between the two NBA stars and no feelings were hurt, as Butler still plans to attend a barbecue with Wade in the near future.
And now the world can move on from yet another weird NBA offseason story.
