The everlasting marriage between hip-hop and basketball has found a revival in the last few years, with players like Damian Lillard, Lou Williams, Lonzo Ball, and others releasing their own music.

Now Minnesota Timberwolves cornerstone center Karl-Anthony Towns can be added to the mix, as he's gotten in the studio this summer, recently posting a photo of it over Snapchat.

The big man has impressed ever since coming into the league, averaging a double-double since his rookie season and making even more of a splash in his sophomore season, improving over his already outstanding numbers from the field and the stripe — adding a respectable three-point shot to become one of the most dynamic frontcourt players.

Towns has a scary ever-growing repertoire and to think that he has some musical genius to match it just seems flat out unfair to most.

With players like Ball, who recently dropped his first single to celebrate the debut of his little brother's signature shoe, it likely won't be long until Towns drops a track of his own.
