The Minnesota Timberwolves are enjoying a breakout campaign that has them in third place in the Western Conference. Now if only their uniforms matched their lofty standing in the NBA’s pecking order. Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr took a shot at the Timberwolves' uniforms ahead of their game on Thursday night at home.

Sadly, Kerr had every right to do so as Minnesota’s jerseys are one of the worst in the entire league.

“I’ve seen some really ugly uniforms,” Kerr said in the interview. “The lime green, the neon lime green? I like it as a secondary color — Seahawks, you know? The Seahawks have grey uniforms. Not sure about the all (green). Though the Seahawks wore those as well, like on a Thursday night.”

The Timberwolves' statement jersey is a full neon/lime green color that is literally a pain in the eyes to stare at.

Not only that, but their basic team uniforms aren’t much to look at as well.

Thankfully, the team’s jerseys don’t reflect Minnesota's performance this season and the Warriors coach has some good words for the team they’re facing the next day.

“Not a huge fan,” Kerr said regarding the uniform once more. “But the team’s good. The team’s better than those uniforms. They’re tough and they’re getting better every night.”

He singled out Jimmy Butler as someone who has finally found his place within the team after a feeling out process in the early part of the season. He and teammate Karl-Anthony Towns will be representing Minnesota as All-Stars in February.

Thankfully, they don’t have to wear those atrocious statement jerseys in the All-Star Game.
