Before the season started, there were high expectations on the Minnesota Timberwolves after hiring Tom Thibodeau to call the shots from the bench. It also adds to their fans' optimism that this year will already be the second campaign their impressive young core of Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and Ricky Rubio will play together.
However, the team has not been able to start their season as planned as they are currently sitting on a 4-10 record and are appearing to be on the road to giving the veteran coach his first losing season in 10 years. Known for his win-now attitude, many believe that Thibodeau is only a few losses away from trading one of his young players for an established veteran who can contribute immediately for the Timberwolves and try to turn their fortunes around.

The potential trade Thibodeau could make is not only limited to his former players from the Chicago Bulls but for whichever team shows interest in acquiring one of his current young guns. Looking at the current Wolves roster, it is easy to notice that the team has a multitude of point guards that could be moved to another team.
What is unclear for them is who their target is and what position they'll look to improve upon. The next few games will be very important as it could determine which direction Thibodeau decides to go in for a trade. Needless to say, it will be very interesting to see the next move the Timberwolves make.
