Since being let go from the Miami Heat earlier this offseason, there hasn't been much activity on the NBA front for former All-Star forward Chris Bosh.

However, Bosh has a gig lined up on Friday morning hosting the 2017 NBAPA “Players Voice Awards” via social media, according to a press release.

Voting took place at the end of the regular season and did not consider postseason performances.

The award show is expected to take place likely on Twitter and Instagram in what should be a unique and entertaining experience. There will be 14 different awards handed out that include for MVP, best defender, best rookie, clutch performer, and most influential veteran.

As for his NBA career, Bosh is still hoping to get medically cleared in order to resume playing in the league. He has missed the last year and a half due to the appearance of a second blood clot. This ultimately led to his release from the Heat back in early July.

In the meantime, this could provide Bosh the experience for possibly something he can delve into he's unable to return to the NBA.
