Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade came to the defense of his wife, Gabrielle Union, following news that the latter was unceremoniously removed from her post as a judge in the hit TV show, “America's Got Talent.”
The reason behind Union's dismissal remains unclear at this point, but for Wade, he is certain that his wife is actually one of the main reasons why the show continues to be successful year after year.
“Men lie, Women lie, numbers don’t” Over this past year I’ve been approached by many people saying that my wife @itsgabrielleu is the main reason they’ve started watching #AGT or that they love her insight and sincerity on the show.

Like most of us, Wade is still waiting for an explanation on why such drastic action was taken, and for his part, he was not shy in demanding for valid reason from the people behind the program.
So when i got the news that my wife was being fired—my first question was obviously why!? Iam still waiting on a good answer to that question. But if anyone knows @itsgabrielleu or have heard of her you know she’s an advocate for our community and culture.

The future Hall of Famer was in no mood to be cordial, and understandably so. This is, after all, his wife we're talking about here, so it is completely reasonable for him to defend her by how he deems fit. In fact, this is his duty as a loving and supportive husband.
Wade then went on to speak about how proud he is of Union and all that she has done, not only in her career, but in her advocacies as well.

Kudos to Dwyane Wade here for standing up for what he believes to be right. Certainly, there is more to this narrative than meets the eye, and the show's producers should have their reasons for acting the way they did. Nonetheless, we're still very proud of Wade's actions here, and hopefully, some good comes out of this recent emotional barrage on social media.
