Boston Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown finally got to play alongside the league's biggest names as he saw action in the first NBA All-Star Game of his young career. He eventually found an unlikely supporter in his All-Star teammate in Stephen Curry as both of them suited up for Team LeBron on Sunday night.

Via Darren Hartwell of NBC Sports:

“When I got hot there, Steph was the main person who was cheering me on,” Brown said. “And I shot one from the logo and it didn’t go in, but Steph said that he liked it. So I was like, ‘Man, I thought I was you for a second,' and he started laughing.”

Brown didn't show any rookie NBA All-Star jitters as he stood his ground and even battled his Celtics teammate Jayson Tatum who headlined Team Durant as a starter. Even after spending four and a half seasons in the league, Brown remains in awe of players like Curry and Damian Lillard who continue to put on dazzling performances every time they step on the court.

“I've always had the feeling that I belong but to be honest, to watch some of these guys up close is unbelievable,” Brown said. “Steph and Dame, I know they didn’t win the MVP but some of the stuff they was doing out there was unreal.”

The former California standout eventually finished the night with 22 points, five rebounds, and two steals for a stacked Team LeBron squad. Although his veteran teammates had better numbers, Brown's contributions were still pivotal for the team as they rolled past Team Durant on a 170-150 lopsided victory.

After experiencing what it was like to play in an actual NBA All-Star Game, Jaylen Brown will definitely work harder in order for him to make more appearances in the years to come. The moments that he spent playing alongside the league's top talents like Stephen Curry will certainly help him as he progresses in his budding career moving forward.
