Donovan Mitchell, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwight Howard could sit out the NBA return at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Players could potentially fear that once sports and the NBA come back, everyone will forget about the George Floyd murder and the racism that still occurs in America. It appears that's one of the major concerns Kyrie Irving has.

22 NBA teams are scheduled to play at Walt Disney World. Irving won't be playing due to his shoulder injury, so some fans are wondering why he's so against other players playing. However, the star guard was able to get over 80 players on the call on a Friday evening, so clearly Irving, Mitchell, Howard, and Anthony aren't the only ones thinking about not going to Orlando.

Mitchell's Utah Jazz and Howard's Los Angeles Lakers have already clinched a playoff spot in the Western Conference. Anthony's Portland Trail Blazers will be battling it out with the Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns for the final postseason spot.

Only time will tell if the 2019-20 season does in fact resume in Orlando, Florida. Just last week it seemed like we were getting closer to basketball coming back.
