Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell and Los Angeles Lakers small forward Kyle Kuzma admit it's special their fellow 2017 draft class members are with them at Team USA training camp in Las Vegas.
Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox and Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo are in Las Vegas with Mitchell and Kuzma.
Tatum was the third overall pick in the 2017 Draft. Fox went fifth, Mitchell went 13th, Adebayo went 14th and Kuzma went 27th.

“It’s special,” Kuzma said, via Eric Woodyard of the Deseret News. “We were all in the same draft class so for us to come here and be amongst each other and hopefully play with each other in September, it’s going to be pretty special, especially coming from the same draft class and being young.”
“We’ve been pushing each other since we were 16 years old,” Mitchell said of his draft classmates. “So, it’s just another step for us. Obviously we’re the young guys, but we’re going to come out there and compete and be ready. It’s a lot of fun and I’m enjoying this.”
Team USA is using the training camp this week to determine which 12 players will go to China for the World Cup.
Mitchell and Fox appear to be locks to make the team since Team USA saw multiple All-Star point guards and shooting guards drop out before training camp started.
