Natalia, the daughter of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, recently ecstatically revealed that she passed freshman admissions University of Southern California (USC). To celebrate Natalia's impressive accomplishment, Vanessa Bryant got a pair of custom Kobe 4's featuring the university's gold and cardinal colors. The gift also symbolizes that Vanessa will be with her daughter throughout her college journey, as seen from her Instagram post.

There's really nothing like a pair of classic Kobe 4's. This is definitely a feel good story for Natalia and the rest of the Bryant family, considering everything they have gone through over the last year.

Kobe Bryant, himself, had some ties with USC. Though the 5-time NBA champion went straight into the pros from high school, he apparently has made USC “his school.” The Black Mamba has been seen making several visits to the campus. He also watched Trojans games at times and even offered his words at some classes at USC. With this heartwarming news, it just feels right that Natalia will be going around the campus as an official student.

It seems like the Bryants have been doing quite well as of late. Obviously, the pain of losing Kobe as well as Gianna from last year's tragic helicopter crash will continue to linger. Nonetheless, Natalia getting into USC should be a major cause for celebration and smiles as she embarks on this new chapter of her life.

Vanessa still obviously misses her beloved husband and daughter. Recently, she commemorated Gigi with a heartwarming “Mambacita” tattoo she inked on her arm.
