Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers were all in attendance at the Thomas & Mack Center on Wednesday to witness the Dubs take on the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Summer League. It was rookie Jonathan Kuminga who led the way for the Warriors in their 90-84 victory over the Raptors, and the 18-year-old's performance left quite an impression on Curry.
On Thursday, Myers shared his experience watching his team play in their opening game in the Summer League. The high-ranking Warriors executive also revealed what Curry had to say about Kuminga and his outstanding effort on the evening:

“But talking to Curry and Draymond, Steph kind of elbowed me and said, ‘This kid's pretty good.‘ And these guys don't compliment easily. They've seen a lot.”
As Myers expressed above, players like Curry and Green don't get impressed easily. They've pretty much seen it all in the NBA already, so for Steph to dish out this type of high praise for Kuminga could speak volumes of the youngster's bright future with the Warriors.
Kuminga dropped 18 points in his Dubs debut, along with four rebounds, two steals, and three three-pointers. It was a preview of things to come for Golden State's seventh pick in the draft, and it looks like there's much more where that came from.
