New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis impressed in his first game since suffering an ankle injury on Oct. 12, posting a monstrous 33-point, 13-rebound double-double in a 114-111 overtime loss to the Orlando Magic.
Davis was aggressive in his 37 minutes of floor action, going 11-of-25 from the field, 9-of-11 from the free-throw line and 2-of-4 from deep.
The 6-foot-11 big man clicked especially well with new starting point guard Tim Frazier, especially in plays like these where he dished a no-look left-handed pass to Davis for the dunk. Take a look.

Davis did a great job running the floor and didn't seem bothered by his ankle injury, as evidenced in this fast break led by Lance Stephenson who slung a bounce pass to Terrence Jones who quickly gave it back to Davis for the finish.

The Pelicans blew a 23-point lead that they had at one point in the game, ultimately losing in overtime, but New Orleans couldn't have had better news than seeing their All-Star forward back to his old ways before the start of the regular season.
