If offering up Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and Ivica Zubac plus draft picks isn't enough, what else is left in the till for Los Angeles to offer?

Still, this does not come as much of a surprise.

The Pelicans are in no rush to trade Davis, as the superstar is under team control through the end of next season when he can opt out of his contract.

There have also been reports that New Orleans is waiting on the Boston Celtics, who can't trade for Davis until the summer due to the “Rose rule” concerning Kyrie Irving.

Given that the Celtics have Jayson Tatum and a bunch of better draft picks than the Lakers can offer, it only makes sense for the Pels to wait for Boston to get involved.

Also, the Pelicans would probably like to see where the New York Knicks' draft pick lands in the lottery.
