Zion Williamson is one of the best basketball players in the world. It sounds like a joke, but that's true. You don't make it to the NBA or any other professional league without being in the top 1% of the sport you play in. The New Orleans Pelicans star will smoke any random hooper every day of the week, and twice on Sundays.

However, one young fan of his seemed to think differently. During a training camp hosted by the Pelicans star, a kid approached Zion and told him that his dad was better than him because he was taller. Here's the full clip of the hilarious conversation between the two. (via Streamable)

For context, Zion stands at around 6'6. Still, it's kind of funny that this kid is confident that his dad is better than Zion Williamson. It's both hilarious and touching that the kid thinks so highly of his dad (even though he admits later that Zion is the best player).

Based on all accounts, it seems like Williamson will be staying long-term in New Orleans. The Duke product went and blasted the media for portraying him as a guy who wanted to leave the city. It's incredibly encouraging that a star prospect like Zion seems to genuinely love the city that he plays for.

Zion Williamson has missed most of his first years in the league due to injury. In the short time we saw him play, though, he flashed just how incredible he can be. Perhaps a full season of play will cement him as one of the best players in the league (and proves to this kid that he's better than his dad).
