Zion Williamson has been reduced to a fan on the sidelines as he's watched his New Orleans Pelicans take on the Phoenix Suns in the playoffs. But the All-Star is more than just a fan of basketball – he's also huge on Naruto as well.
The Pelicans star just recently flexed his one-of-a-kind art from none other than the creator of Naruto himself, Masashi Kishimoto.
Honored to share a one-of-a-kind drawing by Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto. My interest in anime began at a young age and still inspires me today. Naruto’s motto was to always believe in yourself and everything will work out. #BelieveIt

His love for the immensely popular anime series goes beyond just the typical fandom. The Pelicans star has collabed with shoe brand Jordan to create signature sneaks inspired by the series as well.
“Two of my childhood favorites — Michael Jordan and then Naruto. Both were able to collaborate and bring my vision to life. You can’t make this stuff up. You have no idea how much this means to me.”@Zionwilliamson x @Naruto_Anime_EN collection coming soon. Believe it. pic.twitter.com/1PqWo0a0OC

But while it's great that Zion Williamson is making waves in the sneaker side of things, Pelicans fans definitely would rather see him lace them up on the court. He's trended in the right direction of late, but has yet to take the court this entire season.
With the Pelicans one game away from elimination, things are looking bleak for a late-season Zion sighting. But if New Orleans can stay alive and somehow pull off an upset over the Suns, perhaps there's still hope for Zion Williamson to return. As his idol would say, believe it.
