The number 20 seems to be lucky for New Orleans Pelicans superstar Zion Williamson right now. In their impressive 113-108 victory over the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena on Sunday, the high-flying forward notched 20 points or more for the 20th straight game at 20 years of age, as noted by Christian Clark of NOLA news.

Williamson notched 30 points and six rebounds in 35 minutes against the Nuggets.
Fans and pundits, of course, already expected big things from the Duke standout even before he set foot in the NBA last season. Williamson's much-hyped debut season, however, had to be put on hold due to injury early in his rookie campaign. But now, he's certainly proving that he's well worth the wait.

After finishing second in the Rookie of the Year voting last season, Williamson has taken a massive leap to stardom in his sophomore campaign, making it to his first NBA All-Star Game. In 40 games so far, Williamson is recording dominant averages of 25.7 points on 61.9 percent shooting from the field, along with 7.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists in around 32 minutes per contest.
While his immense physical gifts have always been prevalent, it's his maturity that has allowed him to become a force in the NBA this early in his career. The Pelicans already have one of the best young one-two punches in the game with Williamson and Brandon Ingram.
The win versus the Nuggets improved their record to 18-24, but the Pelicans are still on the outside looking in the postseason picture in the Western Conference, currently sitting in 11th place. Zion Williamson, meanwhile, has been on a scoring rampage as of late and has shown no signs of slowing down.
