Last season, Anthony Davis averaged 24.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game. Decent numbers for other stars, but for Davis, these are letdowns.

The New Orleans Pelicans franchise player entered the 2015-2016 season with the same hype that Russell Westbrook is currently generating. But injuries forced him to miss 21 games and his supposed breakout season after already breaking out was put to a halt.

This time around, Davis feels a lot better and two terms that he used to describe himself which stood out are scary for the rest of the league, per John Reid’s article for NOLA.com.

”Right now, I think I'm heading in the right direction toward getting there. Today everything felt great. I feel like I'm more explosive than what I was and more powerful.”
