New Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball recently took his talents to the show ā€œMasked Singerā€ where he was revealed to be the mystery contestant ā€œWatchamacallit.ā€

Somehow, Ken Jeong guessed that Ball was under the suit, so he went crazy once his prediction came to fruition.

Lonzo Ball is a very talented rapper. The Pelicans guard has a few songs out and they are pretty good.

Of course, Ball is mostly known for his play on the basketball court. The former No. 2 overall pick is one of the best passers in the NBA and has All-NBA defensive potential as he gets stronger.

With the Pelicans in 2019-20, Ball averaged 11.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game while shooting 40.3 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from beyond the arc and 56.6 percent from the free-throw line. Obviously, Ball's free-throw shooting has to improve moving forward, but the Pelicans were happy to see the youngster gain more confidence in his 3-point shot after Ball struggled in that area with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The future in New Orleans is very bright with Ball, Brandon Ingram and former No. 1 overall pick Zion Williamson leading the way. The Pelicans acquired a bevy of draft picks from the Milwaukee Bucks in the Jrue Holiday trade, along with veterans Eric Bledsoe and George Hill.

While the Pelicans missed the playoffs in 2019-20 and played awful at the NBA bubble, the team should be better equipped to reach the postseason in 2020-21 with new head coach Stan Van Gundy in place.
