New York Knicks star forward Carmelo Anthony and his wife La La may have separated after the regular season ended, but they aren't heading for a divorce just yet, reportedly still in no rush to get to that stage.

According to TMZ Sports, Carmelo and La La are still in a “limbo stage” of their relationship, but could take their time sorting out how this all would play out. The couple has no plans of getting together again at this point, but remain committed to keeping it civil for the sake of their 10-year-old son, Kiyan. A source told TMZ Sports that “divorce isn’t on the horizon” for the Anthonys.

Melo has been marred by constant cheating rumors for several years since arriving in New York, with the latest buzz indicating that he impregnated a NYC dancer was the straw that broke the camel's back and cause their separation.

Things indicated that he and La La are just trying to keep things as civil as possible, while a previous TMZ Sports report claimed the Knicks swingman is hellbent on saving his marriage, thing which seems very unlikely at this stage of the game.

Whether Melo stays or leaves the New York Knicks during the offseason, LaLa will stay in New York regardless of the outcome, making that a bit to watch as his never-ending saga with Phil Jackson unfolds.
