New York Knicks big man Enes Kanter suffered a lacerated lip during Monday morning's practice session, according to a report from ESPN's Ian Begley. Though painful, it sounds like the 6-11 rebounding machine is going to be well enough to play in Tuesday night's game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Kanter, now 25 years of age, has played well for the Knicks through the first half of this season. In his 47 appearances, the former No. 3 overall pick in the 2011 Draft has turned in averages of 13.8 points on 60.3 percent shooting from the field, 9.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.

Kanter came out strong in the first quarter, scoring 15 of his 20 points. The Knicks never looked back, as they led wire to wire.
In other Knicks news, Joakim Noah is listed as “doubtful,” as he's taken a leave of absence from the team.
