Since being selected with the eighth overall pick in this year's draft, rookie point guard Frank Ntilikina has already dealt with nagging injuries.

According to Alan Hahn of ESPN Radio, the 19-year-old has suffered yet another injury that has forced him to miss practice.

Although this is a minor ailment, it still does bring up some concern about his long-term health as he's yet to play in an official game with the Knicks. He had missed the entire Summer League due to a sore right knee just prior to the tournament beginning.

The Knicks are hoping that Ntilikina can take up a significant role in his first campaign likely vying for the starting point guard spot. He has already received much praise from veteran guard Ramon Sessions, who recently compared him to a young Kyrie Irving.

If he's able to stay relatively healthy, Ntilikina could become the Knicks' primary ball handler as he has shown to be a pass-first point guard with the ability to get to the rim off the dribble and make plays for his teammates. However, if he's already having trouble avoiding injuries at this point, it's something that the team will have to keep a close eye on moving forward.
