New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson has joined Klutch Sports Group, according to the agency's Twitter account:

Klutch Sports continue to add to their list of NBA clientele.

Rich Paul–the founder of Klutch–represents LeBron James, Anthony Davis, John Wall and Ben Simmons, among others.

Robinson, meanwhile, has emerged as a budding star in New York. The former second-round pick is averaging 9.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in just over 22 minutes per game, which equates to a per-36 line of 14.6 points, 10.6 boards and 2.9 blocks.

However, between ceding time to former Knicks center DeAndre Jordan while also giving some minutes to Julius Randle, Robinson has had a hard time seeing consistent and significant action.

While Robinson cannot create much for himself offensively, he has not had much of an opportunity to work on his post game, aside from the fact post-ups are all but gone from the modern NBA. Of course, this might also create a need for Robinson to work on his jumper.

Still, Robinson is already one of the better players on this Knicks team, even if that is not saying much.

Currently, Robinson's contract is not fully guaranteed next season. But–given Paul's recent history–there is a chance the Knicks rework the deal, especially after they withheld from trading for Andre Drummond prior to the deadline.

Then again, the Knicks could always look to flip Robinson this summer, especially if they show interest in selecting James Wiseman in the NBA Draft.

New York might be in the doldrums from a basketball standpoint, but Robinson is joining a star-studded roster with Klutch Sports. It might not be a surprise if he leveraged new representation in the future.
