With their loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, the New York Knicks clinched their seventh straight losing season.
The 2012-13 season was the last time the Knicks had a winning record and made the playoffs:
Seven straight losing seasons for the Knicks. This will also likely be New York's sixth straight season of at least 50 losses. That's one shy of the franchise record for consecutive years with a winning percentage at or below 39 percent (1960-66). https://t.co/5mrk1EiwYP

Knicks fans are tired of the way owner James Dolan has been running the franchise into the ground and religiously throw verbal barbs at him any chance they get. If you recall, last season a fan told Dolan to sell the team. The Knicks owner heard the fan and had him banned from MSG.
New York had the worst record in the NBA last season. To make matters worse, the Knicks didn’t win the draft lottery and saw Zion Williamson get drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans. The Knickerbockers got the third pick and selected RJ Barrett, who has been really inconsistent in his rookie year.
This past summer's free agency wasn’t too kind to the Knicks either, as they lost superstars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving to the other team in New York — the Brooklyn Nets. It’s gotten to the point where fans of the Knicks believe the franchise will always be putrid as long as Dolan is running the show.
The Knicks are hiring former NBA agent Leon Rose as their new president of basketball operations. Dolan began exploring the front office model of hiring a player agent shortly after firing Steve Mills. The Golden State Warriors under Bob Myers and the Los Angeles Lakers under Rob Pelinka have had success with the former agent model.
