A lot of buzz has been generated by the possibility of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving teaming up this summer. With the ability to sign two players to max contracts in the offseason, the New York Knicks seem the likely destination for the potential duo. As they should be, Knicks fans remain excited about their chance to land two of the top names of the free agent class in 2019.
However, a video on Twitter may have gone just a little too far with their hilarious pairing of the two in a very sweet montage.

Set to the tune of Marioâs 2004 smash hit âLet Me Love Youâ, the video features friendly moments between the two from All-Star weekend as well as old tweets from Kevin Durant praising Irving and his game.

As the video displayed, the two players spent a lot of time hanging out, joking around with one another, and shared what appeared to be potentially serious hallway conversation.
By moving Kristaps Porzingis and the heft contracts of Courtney Lee and Tim Hardaway Jr. prior to this seasons trade deadline earlier in February, the Knicks put themselves in prime position to be a wrecking ball come July when these superstars will hit the market.
Other instances outside this video, such as Kevin Durantâs company opening a New York office, or Kyrie being form the surrounding area, have set the foundation for such speculation.
