Oklahoma City Thunder veteran forward Danilo Gallinari had a relatively quiet outing on Wednesday, as the Thunder emerged with a 120-114 win over the Orlando Magic. The 31-year-old accounted for 12 points (4-of-11 from the field, 2-of-2 from the line), two 3-pointers, six rebounds, an assist, and a steal in 32 minutes of play.

However, despite his modest output on Wednesday, Danilo Gallinari has actually been a force for the Thunder this season. So much so, that he has reportedly gained interest from a number of contenders looking to bolster their outside shooting (particularly from the frontcourt) as the trade deadline approaches. Danilo Gallinari stands out as an option. Multiple playoff teams have expressed interest in the Thunder forward, including the Mavericks and Sixers, according to league sources.

Gallinari joined the Thunder this summer as part of the shocking Paul George deal. He is currently on an expiring deal, which makes him an even more attractive trade target. More importantly, he is currently averaging 19.0 points (on 43.3 percent shooting), 5.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 0.7 steals, while also connecting on a career-best 3.1 3-pointers per game on a 40.8-percent clip.

Gallinari has emerged as one of the most effective 3-point shooting forwards in the league today, and a team like the Dallas Mavericks or the Philadelphia 76ers could certainly use his services. With the Thunder looking to focus on youth development, it would not be surprising if they agree to part ways with the Italian national at the right price.
