Upon receiving his Most Valuable Player award on Monday night, Russell Westbrook was immediately showered with congratulations from many stars — one of them, Taylor Swift.

The country/pop singer sang some praise to the Oklahoma City Thunder guard, despite failing miserably at making it a comical congratulatory bit during the first half of it.

Westbrook has been a notable Swift fan, whether it is him jamming to “Bad Blood” in his car or attending some of her concerts.
