Chris Paul and the Oklahoma City Thunder weren't picked by ESPN to make the 2020 playoffs before the season started.
ESPN gave the Thunder a 0.2 percent chance of reaching the 2020 postseason.
Behind the stellar play of Paul and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander though, OKC got the fifth seed in the West and will take on the Houston Rockets in the first round of the 2020 playoffs.
With that said, CP3 made sure to remind ESPN about their prediction.

Some pundits thought Chris Paul wouldn't even last the entire 2019-20 season with the Thunder after his trade with the Rockets went through. He was the subject of trade talks seemingly right after OKC got him.
However, the Thunder and Paul meshed better than expected and now OKC has a chance to take out James Harden and the Rockets in the playoffs.
Fans can assume Paul is motivated to beat the Rockets since Houston traded him to the Thunder for Russell Westbrook just a year after signing him to a lucrative contract extension.
Paul, a future Hall of Famer, averaged 17.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game during the 2019-20 regular season with the Thunder. He also shot 48.9 percent from the field, 36.5 percent from beyond the arc and 90.7 percent from the free-throw line.
The Thunder could possibly defeat the Rockets since Westbrook will miss some time with a quad injury. It's unknown when the former MVP will return to the court.
