There's an old saying that says better late than never, and that seems to be the motto that Steven Adams lives by, at least when it comes to accepting prom dates.

Three years ago, Steven Adams was asked to prom by @itsloyo who hoped that Adams would be her date for her Law School Prom.

It got the 1000 retweets, but never got a reply from Adams. Fast forward three years and Adam's must have had some extra time on his hands during the All-Star break because he finally decided to reply to the tweet, giving just a one-word answer: absolutely.

Now it's unclear if she is still in school and can go a prom, or if they will have to arrange a different way to meet and go out.

Adams who is from New Zealand is only 24 years old and when asked was only a couple years removed from being able to attend his own prom.

He has been a big part of the success of the Thunder this year. He is averaging 13.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.

He has improved in each year in the league and if he keeps up the progression, maybe one of these years he will be busy on All-Star weekend.

Last off-season, Adams signed a huge contract with the Thunder that will keep him in Oklahoma City for the next four years. It's a four-year deal with an average salary of $25 million dollars.

Even if he isn't able to go to prom with that woman, he should be able to take her out for a nice dinner, with all the extra cash he has in his pocket.
