The Orlando Magic put up one of the best defensive performances of this season on Friday, holding the Miami Heat to just six points in the fourth quarter en route to a decisive 105-85 victory at the Amway Center.

The feat tied the franchise's record for fewest points allowed in any quarter, according to the Magic's PR team.

The Heat, who average around 110 points as a team this season, was limited to just 85 in their blowout loss after getting outscored 21-6 in the final 12 minutes.

Orlando forced Miami to cough up the ball 18 times, converting those miscues to 24 points off turnovers. The Magic also recorded more steals (11-7) and more blocks (4-2), while limiting the Heat to just 37.5 percent shooting from the floor (30-of-80) and an atrocious 18.9 percent from downtown (3-for-37).

Even more impressive, Orlando did so without arguably their best defender and rim protector in Jonathan Isaac, who is expected to be out for two months after suffering a severe knee injury. Isaac is the fourth best shot blocker in the league, norming 2.44 rejections per game for the Magic prior to the injury.

Apart from locking up the Heat on the defensive side, the Magic's offense was on point as well, with Terrence Jones firing a game-high 25 points built on 6-for-10 shooting from past the arc. Nikola Vucecic added 20 points, 11 rebounds and seven dimes, while Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier pitched in 16 and 15 points, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Heat only received double-digit production from Jimmy Butler (23 points) and Bam Adebayo (14).

With the win, the Magic strengthened its hold for eight place in the East with a 16-19 slate.
